Romanticizing the Everyday

July Notes & Intentions

I always see each month as a new chapter in a book, and July is Chapter 7.

If there’s anything I’ve learned over the last couple of years, it’s that building a life I love isn’t about dramatic transformations. It’s about always returning to the habits that make me feel grounded, healthy, and present.

This month, I’m focusing on consistency over perfection and creating more space for the simple routines that help me feel more like myself.

Nourish My Body

This month, I want to continue choosing meals that leave me feeling energized rather than depleted. Lately, that looks like simple breakfasts, more greens, a focus on protein, and having my morning electrolytes.

My husband and I are going on vacation to Mexico, which I plan on thoroughly enjoying while still being true to my routine and foods that make me feel good (I’ll still avoid dairy and gluten but will enjoy myself!).

Move Because I Love It

Movement has become such a non-negotiable for me and something that I genuinely look forward to each day. In July, I’m planning on mixing my routine up a bit by adding in some strength training and heated sculpt, while maintaining my daily long walks.

I still have about 5% body fat I would like to lose, so sculpt and strength training will be important additions to my routine to help get me there.

Romanticize Summer

We’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of Massachusetts – the South Shore of Boston is right on the coast, so we have lots of beaches and quaint, coastal towns to explore.

The summer is always such a fun time to check out the farmers market, go for evening walks after dinner, and just spending more time outside!

Create More Than I Consume

One intention I’m bringing into July is spending less time comparing or worrying and more time creating! I love sharing my wellness journey and documenting the life I’m building, so I’ll be leaning into that more and challenging myself to be seen!

How I Want To Feel

One of my biggest revelations over the last couple of years has been that the focus I’ve had on wellness and building a life I love isn’t a phase – it’s a daily journey that requires maintenance, intention, and attention.

Since each day is the destination, I want to intentionally move through each day of the month with that mindset. A beautiful life isn’t something that’s stumbled upon – it’s created in morning walks, nourishing meals, movement I enjoy, slower evenings, and choosing to pay attention.

Here’s to July.
