About

Hi, I’m Erin.

Welcome to Romanticizing the Everyday

A couple years ago, I realized I was spending so much time waiting for life to feel different that I forgot to appreciate the one I already had.

As I focused on improving my health, slowing down, creating a home I love, and building small routines that genuinely make me feel better, I discovered something unexpected: the biggest transformations often come from the smallest, everyday choices.

Romanticizing the Everyday is where I document that journey. It’s my way of slowing down and paying attention again.

I live on Massachusetts’ South Shore with my husband and our Havanese, Willow, and you’ll usually find me exploring New England, trying a new coffee shop, going for a long walk, reading a good book, or documenting the little moments that make life feel full.

Wellness became an important part of my story

One of the biggest shifts in my life came through my health.

After losing nearly 50 pounds and later being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s, I learned that wellness isn’t built through perfection or quick fixes.

It’s build through small choices that become habits: nourishing meals, movement you genuinely enjoy, prioritizing rest, learning to slow down, giving yourself grace. Those simple routines changed far more than my health, they changed how I experience everyday life.

Around here, you’ll find a mix of:

  • Everyday wellness
    • Nourishing meals, wellness routines, movement, and sustainable habits.
  • Romanticized living
    • Coffee, books, cozy routines, seasonal inspiration, and little rituals that make life feel beautiful.
  • New England life
    • Local adventures, favorite places, travel, and everyday moments around the South Shore and Boston.
  • Becoming
    • Monthly reflections, personal growth, and honest conversations about creating a healthier, more intentional life.

My Philosophy

I don’t believe romanticizing everyday life means pretending everything is beautiful.

I believe it means paying attention.

It’s choosing to notice the morning light across your kitchen floor. Taking the longer walk because it clears your mind. Cooking dinner at home because it makes you feel more nourished. Reading one more chapter. Calling a friend. Watching the seasons change.

Finding joy in the life you’re already living instead of constantly waiting for the next chapter to begin.

If you’ve found your way here, I hope this space leaves you feeling inspired to slow down, take a deep breath, and discover a little more beauty in your own everyday life.

I’m so glad you’re here.
